Welcome to the first ever released user-created skin for Applied Acoustics Systems' Tassman 4 (at least, as far as i can tell).

Title: Tassman Clarity

Included Files: The entire "bitmap" folder and the required BMP images (modified by me, dysamoria), this text file, and a Photoshop PSD file for each of the BMP images in case you want to get more industrious than myself. The PSD files were created in Photoshop CS3 and use layer folders, smart objects and colored layers. i marked some items as "unknown" in yellow because i have no clue what they are for. If you can identify their purpose, or rename anything to be more accurate, please do make changes to the document so long as you don't destroy it. Please send me your changed PSD files and very clear notes on what you changed (i have autism, so clarity is important).

Goal: To clean up the interface a bit and make it easier to read.

Methods: Removed screws, put color on activated buttons, removed the ugly plastic blue from the smoothe knobs, put some color into the recessed pits of the slider switches (and maybe other things i'm forgetting).

Instructions on using this skin:
1. Rename your existing Tassman "bitmap" folder to something like "bitmap_original."
2. Place the "bitmap" folder from this archive into the Tassman folder.
3. Start Tassman and enjoy the mostly subtle changes.

Tools: The bitmap folder found in your Tassman program folder, Photoshop CS3, a Sony VAIO laptop, my drugged-up brain which wont sleep, and a little motivation to see some new activity in the Tassman community (and more updates from AAS).

Time Spent: Since this was my first skin creation (and it's really just a modification of the stock skin instead of a complete new design), and since i wanted to create Photoshop documents with organized layers and materials to offer any other brave(r) skin makers, this cost me about 10 hours total. i know... ten hours is a lot for such minor changes.

i hope you find this useful and enjoy it somewhat.
